Here at Emmaus Lutheran Church, we know that everyone has a story. The beauty of the gospel is that no matter what your life’s story is, Jesus has come to redeem it and give it another ending. That’s why we proclaim that we can not stop speaking about what we have seen and heard!

We all want something that just lasts. We get tired of things wearing down, relationships falling short. Institutions, governments, people, even our own bodies — things we thought would last forever…don’t. Jesus’s words at the beginning of his preaching answer that ache with something that does last: His kingdom, a kingdom like no other. For 3 weeks, focus on how eternity breaks into the ordinary for good.
